LFA PC 24 BL

The LFA PC 24 BL portable compactor is a 24m³ wet specification hook lift mobile compactor with an integrated bin lift, designed for sites generating high volumes of waste where material is collected around the site in wheelie bins before taken to the compactor. Supplied as a complete unit, it provides a practical alternative to static compactors, open skips and wheelie bins.

The PC 24 BL is used where waste is produced across wide areas such as warehouses, factories and distribution centres, and transporting waste to a single compaction point in wheelie bins reduces double handling and unnecessary movement. Waste is tipped directly into the compactor via the bin lift, keeping waste contained and helping maintain a tidier yard.

This model is supplied as a wet specification mobile compactor, with sealed construction to contain liquids and prevent leaks. It is suitable for general waste and dry mixed recyclables (DMR), and can also be specified with a pendulum sweeper blade where very wet waste streams are handled.

When full, the entire unit is collected, emptied and returned, making it suitable for sites where a permanent fixed installation is not suitable. Depending on waste type, payloads of around 8 tonnes are commonly achieved, helping reduce collection frequency and waste transportation costs.

As standard, the LFA PC 24 BL is supplied with an integrated bin lift, allowing 660L or 1100L wheelie bins to be tipped safely into the hopper. The bin lift is fitted with an all-round safety cage to protect operators during loading. The compactor is compatible with UK standard hook lift vehicles used by the majority of waste contractors.

New LFA PC 24 BL compactors are supplied with a telemetry system, along with ¾ full and 100% full indicator lights, helping sites monitor fill levels and plan waste collections more efficiently.
