Refurbished APB 20 BL Portable Compactor with Bin Lift

The APB 20 BL is a refurbished large 20m³ hook lift mobile compactor with an integrated bin lift, supplied as a whole mobile unit. It is commonly used on sites where waste is collected in wheelie bins across the site and then brought back to the compactor for processing. It offers a cost-effective alternative to open skips and wheelie bins.

The APB 20 BL uses a straight push compaction system, commonly used on mobile and portable compactors handling bulky waste streams. This allows waste to be compacted repeatedly during normal use and suits sites where waste is generated steadily throughout the day.

With a 20m³ container capacity, the APB 20 BL can commonly achieve payloads of up to 8 tonnes of general waste, equivalent to around 160 standard 50kg wheelie bins. This helps significantly reduce the number of collections required compared to bins or skips.

Waste is compacted inside the container, reducing the number of collections required and limiting loose waste compared to skips and bins.

As a hook lift portable compactor, the APB 20 BL is collected, emptied and returned as a complete unit when full. This makes it suitable for sites where a fixed static compactor installation is not suitable.

The integrated bin lift allows 660L or 1100L wheelie bins to be tipped directly into the compactor and is supplied with an all-round safety cage to protect operators during loading.

The APB 20 BL is used for general waste, cardboard and dry mixed recyclables (DMR) on UK sites such as warehouses, factories, distribution centres and other industrial or commercial premises handling bulky waste.
