Refurbished APB 20 Portable Compactor

The APB 20 is a refurbished large 20m³ hook lift mobile compactor, designed for sites producing bulky or high volumes of waste. Supplied as a self-contained portable compactor unit, it is currently in stock and provides a lower cost alternative to open skips and wheelie bins.

A key feature of the APB 20 is its extra large feed opening, which allows bulky waste to be loaded easily without the need to break material down beforehand. This makes it well suited to packaging waste, oversized items and loose material commonly generated on industrial and commercial sites.

The APB 20 uses a straight push compaction system, commonly used on mobile and portable compactors handling bulky waste streams. This allows waste to be compacted repeatedly during normal use and suits sites where waste is generated steadily throughout the day.

With a 20m³ container capacity, the APB 20 can commonly achieve payloads of up to 8 tonnes of general waste, equivalent to around 160 standard 50kg wheelie bins. This helps significantly reduce the number of collections required compared to bins or skips.

Waste is compacted inside the container, reducing the number of collections required and limiting loose waste compared to skips and bins.

As a hook lift portable compactor, the APB 20 is collected, emptied and returned as a complete unit when full. This makes it suitable for sites where a fixed static compactor installation is not suitable.

The APB 20 is used for general waste, cardboard and dry mixed recyclables (DMR) on UK sites such as warehouses, factories, distribution centres and other industrial or commercial premises handling bulky waste.
