Refurbished MPB 10 Portable Compactor

The MPB 10 is a refurbished 10m³ chain lift portable waste compactor supplied as a complete mobile unit. It is commonly used where waste needs to be compacted on site to cut down on collections, rather than relying on wheelie bins or open skips.

A mobile compactor is designed to compact waste directly inside the container, reducing the amount of loose waste stored on site and making day to day waste handling easier to manage. By compacting waste into the container itself, collections are usually based on the actual volume removed instead of underfilled bins or skips.

The MPB 10 generates 21 tonnes of compaction force and typically achieves payloads of around 4 tonnes of general waste, with higher payloads possible depending on the waste type. This helps reduce collection frequency and overall waste transport costs.

With a compact footprint of approximately 1985 x 4500mm, the MPB 10 suits sites with limited space and takes up a similar area to a single parking bay. It is commonly installed in tight yards, service areas and locations where larger waste equipment would not fit.

The compactor uses a pendulum compaction mechanism with a scraper blade, allowing it to be fed repeatedly during normal operation without the need for frequent cleaning of the compaction area. A large 1400 x 1000mm feed opening allows bulky waste to be loaded easily, whether by hand, forklift or tipping skip.

As a refurbished portable rubbish compactor, the MPB 10 is often selected where lead times for new equipment are not suitable or where a lower upfront cost is preferred. The unit has been checked and prepared ready for installation.
