LFA PC 24

The LFA PC 24 portable compactor is a self contained 24 m³ hook lift waste compactor, supplied as a complete unit rather than a static compactor with a separate skip. It is designed for sites handling high volumes of waste while helping keep yard areas tidy and well organised.

As a hook lift mobile compactor, the LFA PC 24 is suited to sites with external space for placement and access for hook lift vehicles. When the unit is full, the entire compactor is collected, emptied off site and returned, keeping waste fully contained and maintaining a cleaner, more controlled waste area.

The LFA PC 24 is supplied as a wet specification mobile compactor, with sealed construction to contain liquids and prevent leaks. For sites handling very wet waste, such as food waste with high liquid content, a pendulum sweeper blade configuration can be specified to help prevent material build up inside the container.

The larger container size allows the LFA PC 24 to handle high volumes of waste, with typical general waste payloads of around 8 tonnes, depending on material type. This helps reduce collection frequency, lower waste transport movements and reduce overall waste transportation costs.

As standard, the LFA PC 24 is supplied with an open hopper for loading. Alternative loading options can be specified to suit site layout and waste handling requirements, including a hydraulically operated opening lid or a low level interlocked feed door for hand or forklift loading. A bin lift version is also available (LFA PC 24 BL) where waste is collected in wheelie bins before compaction.

The LFA PC 24 portable compactor is supplied as standard with a telemetry system, allowing remote monitoring and fault reporting. The unit is also fitted with ¾ full and 100% full indicator lights, helping sites plan collections accurately.

The LFA PC 24 is used across a wide range of UK sites including warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centres, food production sites and other industrial and commercial premises producing high volumes of waste.
