LFA CC 50 - Large Can Crusher
The LFA CC 50 is an industrial can crusher designed to crush large metal cans and containers up to 50 litres in size. It is intended for sites handling oversized industrial tins that are too large for the LFA CC 5 and LFA CC 30 can crushers, such as bulk paint containers, food processing drums, chemical containers and similar heavy-duty tins.
Using a pneumatic compaction system, the LFA CC 50 reduces can volume by up to 80%, allowing significantly more crushed material to be put in bins or skips before disposal. Crushing cans at the point of generation helps reduce the need to repeatedly carry bulky, empty cans to dispose of, improving waste handling efficiency on site.
The crushing process is semi-automatic and powered by a pneumatic cylinder, providing consistent performance for regular use in industrial environments. The CC 50 is typically floor mounted close to where large cans are generated, allowing containers to be crushed immediately after use rather than stored loose.
The LFA CC 50 is commonly installed on UK industrial sites such as manufacturing facilities, food production plants, paint and coating operations, chemical processing sites and maintenance workshops where large metal containers are used as part of day-to-day operations.
An air compressor can be supplied if required, making the LFA CC 50 suitable for sites without an existing compressed air supply.
